It was just out of the blue. One day it just knocked me out. My back was really sore and all of the sudden I was just flat on my back and I couldn’t get up. I layed there for a long time trying to get up and I just couldn’t get up. I would wear the patch for a couple of days while I slept and I would just feel normal.

I was still paranoid about my back going out. I was really careful for a long time after that. But then after a couple of days the same old problems would start coming back again, the inflammation. For the first time I bought a ski pass this winter because I felt confident enough finally to go skiing. I am skiing with my daughter and grandkids.
